What is Christian Education?

Through Bible study, discipleship, and spiritual formation, Christian Education equips people to live out their faith, serve others, and become mature followers of Christ. Whether through topical studies or committing to the Discipleship Journey, its goal is to shape hearts and minds to reflect the character of Christ and to empower believers to fulfill their God-given purpose.

Topical Studies

Women’s Study – Women of the Word

This 7-week study explores the lives of women in the Bible—ordinary individuals used by an extraordinary God. Through their stories, we’ll uncover powerful lessons of faith, courage, obedience, and redemption that still speak to us today. The study will deepen your understanding of God’s work through women in Scripture and inspire you to live with purpose and devotion.

Men’s Study – Practicing the Way

Be with Jesus. Become Like Him. Do as He Did. In this transformative men’s class, we will embark on a journey of spiritual formation, learning what it truly means to follow Jesus in our daily lives. Through Scripture, prayer, and practical disciplines.

Discipleship Journey

Discipleship is at the heart of the church’s mission. It’s more than a series of classes—it’s a lifestyle, a commitment to helping people grow into the image of Christ.

This journey is designed to create a clear and intentional pathway for spiritual growth.

  • Connection – Discipleship begins with relationship.
Building authentic relationships is foundational. Discipleship thrives when people feel known, loved, and supported in a community (Acts 2:46-47).
  • Commitment – A disciple is devoted to Christ and growth.
Both leaders and disciples must be dedicated to spiritual growth, regular gatherings, and mutual accountability (Luke 9:23).
  • Consistency – Transformation comes over time.
A steady, ongoing process is key. Spiritual maturity happens through faithful teaching, prayer, and walking together over time (Philippians 1:6).

Starting Point

Alpha

Alpha is a space to explore life, meaning, and the Christian faith in a relaxed, friendly, and open environment. It’s a series of sessions where questions are welcome, doubts are respected, and conversation flows freely. Each gathering includes good food, genuine fellowship, and engaging discussion around some of life’s biggest questions.

Next Steps

A foundational course designed to guide new and growing believers
in Jesus Christ toward a deeper understanding of the Kingdom of God. This class helps participants build a strong spiritual foundation by exploring key truths of the Christian faith, the character of God, and what it means to follow Jesus daily.

Spiritual Foundations

Purpose, Church and Me

This 8-week class explores the importance of the church and how each believer uniquely fits into the body of Christ. Through the S.H.A.P.E. model—Spiritual Gifts, Heart (passions), Abilities, Personality, and Experiences—you will discover how God has intentionally designed them for a purpose. We’ll explore how these five areas reveal your calling and how you can serve others through ministry or volunteer work. This class will empower you to live with purpose, grow in faith, and engage meaningfully in God’s mission through the local church. The class also includes a Saturday Soul Care mini-session for personal reflection and spiritual renewal.
